Music Video"I Hate Public Speaking"

I found this video only slightly entertaining. The song was catchy but only because it was easy to follow. It is more or less pointing out the fears and feelings that we are feeling or thinking while we are about to or are speaking publicly in public(have fun with that one?). Still, most people will probably feel a connection to the song due to one or more of their fears or thoughts that were in the video. For example, I find that when I speak in public and I'm very nervous I can almost not stop my knees, and generally my whole body, from shaking. I can sometimes get it under control and sometimes I can't control it. It is also telling people, not directly, that they are not weird if they have these problems because everybody usually has at least one and that the person singing has all of them so don't sweat it(thats another one, constant sweating)! I think it would be fun if people listed some of their fears and problems they have during public speaking. Mine are uncontrollable shaking, sweating, stomach problems, forgeting what I wrote, and not speaking loudly. Also enjoy this mans terror, he hates public speaking. Excuse me sir would you like some chocolate?

People who know me well know that I absolutley love chocolate. I like all kinds like toberlone(shown to the left), ghirardelli, nestle, truffles, fudge, nesquick, you name it. It is my favorite dessert and snack. I remember when I was little almost all I wanted to drink was chocolate milk. Unfourtunately that led to a problem often associated with too much milk. On to a cleaner subject, I have tried many types and one I did not particularly enjoy was a chocolate bar that was almost 70% cocoa. Now that sounds good but if you haven't tried cocoa you wouldn't know. Back during the time of the Aztecs, they drank chocolate as a drink but it tasted very bitter. The Spaniards tried the concotion but didn't think much of it. Eventually the drink spread to Britian. They didn't like it either until someone added cream and sugar to it, much like they did with coffee, and our more modern chocolate was formed. It became a very popular drink that wealthy people drank at parties and other engagements. Well, I think you've had enough history today so cya later! Also, if you're wondering where I got this delicious picture, heres the web address-www.international-chocolates.com/.../

The first half of my name shows that I like soccer. So if you hadn't guessed already then heres what the last part stands for. Ultimate Fighting Championship. That is what those three letters stand for. UFC is a MMA(Mixed Martial Arts) fighting competition. It is indeed very mixed. People use kickboxing, wrestling, judo, Brazilian jujitsu, karate, you name it and some fighter is probably using it. So of my favorite fighters include, Clay Guida, Lyoto Machida, Chuck Liddell(retired a little while ago), Matt Hughes(is coming back!), and quite a few others. There are many other smaller fighting competitions but the UFC is like the big leauges of fighting. It is the equivalent of the NFL, NBA, NHL, and so forth. If any of you have not had the chance to se UFC and you've always wanted to then tune in on Spike TV to see it! Also since I don't own this image I will have to give credit to technorati.com/.../ otherwise they might send some UFC fighter after me.

Ouch!

Ouch, that had to hurt! For those of you who don't know, I love soccer. I do okay at most sports but soccer is by far my favorite and the one I'm best at. Some people say soccer is a wimpy sport, but images like this say otherwise. This is not some rare occurence, stuff like this happens all the time. Just two games ago I had a very similar experience, good thing those weren't proffessional players kicking at me! I see more people get hurt in soccer than in any other sport. I don't mean, "Ow, I think I got a bruise.", I mean "Ow, I think I broke something!". It happens. We had a bunch of injured players last year. Soccer is not an easy sport, whether by skil or the effect on your body it is a diffucult sport. Don't believe me, just try it. Heres where I got the picture and it also has some music videos on there.

Mater

This is not a picture of my dog Mater. This is just a picture of a random dog that looks like him. But its as close as I can get. Mater was not named for the cars charachter, as some people have asked. He was actually named Mater because he ate so much! We brought him home and fed him some food. He ate all of it. We gave him a little more. He ate all of that too. We kept feeding until he looked like a little black tomato. It was so funny. After that his name became Mater. He grew from an energetic little puppy to, still quite energetic, slightly larger and much fatter full size pug. He likes treats, chasing people's feet, almost any toy, and to snuggle up to somebody at night.

You should hold onto your dreams; if you work hard enough for them, then they might come true

I found this picture on google images. In the story, Ruth wants a new house with rooms and light. Beneatha wants to be a docter. Walter wants to be a big business man. Mama wants her very own garden. Through hard work and perserverince, the family more or less acheives thier dreams. Mama use alot of her money to buy a house that they can all live in. Ruth gets more space and more light. Beneatha is going to go to Africa to marry Asagai and be a docter there. Mama gets room for her own garden, her family is also happy. Walter doesn't become a big business man but he does prove himself as a man. This alone might give him a better chance of achieving his dream.

When someone insults you, its best to just turn the other cheek?

I got this picture from google images. If we can't all just "get along" then should I just turn the other cheek. I say no. It really depends on the situation. If it is something serious and can't be ignored, then no, I would fight back. if it was a small matter that isn't even worth my time then, yes I might turn the other cheek. For example, if someone insults my mother then I will send them to the nurses office. If someone makes fun of my hair or something like that then I won't even bother with them. Like I said, I agree and disagree with this statement in defferent circumstances. In the story, Walter doesn't want to just turn the other cheek. He wants to be doing the slapping. The only time he finally gets his way is when he tells Mr. Linder that they don't want his money. That, in a sense, was a gentle slap.

If you want to be successful, then you have to take some big risks

This picture was saved from google images. The rolling of the dice symbolizes the idea that if you want to be successful then you've got to take some big risks. This can be true. You may make a gamble, and with any luck, you may just win big time. Then again you may lose big time, just like Walter did. He intrusted his money to Willy and, metaphorically speaking, he loses the gamble. This shows just how much you can lose if you gamble.
